Mandioca Frita (Fried Cassava)

Ingredients:

- ½ kg of cassava flour
- 1 cup of fresh grated coconut
- sugar to taste
- ½ tea spoon of salt
- 2 seeds of cardamom
- ¼ tea spoon of fennel
- oil to fry

1- Boil ½ L of water and make a hard dough with the cassava flour, coconut, sugar, cardamom and fennel.

2- Stir continuously. Then take it off of the heat and continue stiring until the dough become cold.

3- Knead the dough until it gets nice to make sticks.

4- Fry the sticks in low heat till golden and eat them with a cup of tea or milk.
